Ghetto golf is back
Newcastle’s Nightlife Is About to Get Loud Again
One of Newcastle’s wildest nights out is making a comeback.
For a limited three-week run, Ghetto Golf is returning to the city where it all began – and it’s doing it properly.
First opening its doors in 2019, Ghetto Golf smashed together crazy golf, street art, heavy basslines and an underground party atmosphere that Newcastle hadn’t seen before. It didn’t take long before it became one of the city’s most talked-about venues – not just somewhere to play golf, but somewhere to go out.
Located in Hoults Yard, the venue helped redefine what a night out in Newcastle could look like. Loud. Different. Unapologetic.
In 2022, the site was rebranded as Golf Fang as part of a national expansion. But now, the original name is back – and so is the attitude that made Ghetto Golf a cult hit before “competitive socialising” became a buzzword.
Now, Ghetto Golf is reclaiming its roots.

What’s New This Time?
This limited revival isn’t a carbon copy. It’s a reset.
The relaunch brings:
